This Halloween, our care homes were transformed into spooky wonderlands!
Residents, staff, and visitors put on their most creative costumes, from witches and zombies to ghosts and skeletons.
The day was packed with spooky activities for everyone to enjoy:
* Halloween-Themed Music: The air was filled with spooky tunes and classic Halloween songs, getting everyone in the festive mood.
* Singing and Dancing: Residents joined in on Halloween-themed sing-alongs and dance parties.
* Trick or Treating: We had a few trick-or-treaters visit our care home, collecting candy and treats.
* Games and Crafts: Spooky-themed games and crafts kept everyone entertained, from pumpkin carving to spooky storytelling.
Reminiscing About Halloween’s of the past also provided a wonderful opportunity for residents to reminisce about their childhood. Everyone shared stories of trick-or-treating adventures, carving turnips and DIY costumes!
To make the day even more special, at The Count they combined their Halloween party with a Sing for Stroke fundraiser. The talented Sharon Leonard, also known as Adam's Rib, performed a fantastic show, raising over £150 for this incredible charity.
Our Halloween celebrations were a resounding success. Thank you so much to everyone for working so hard! We’re already looking forward to next year's Halloween festivities!
