County Care Home goes Solar!

We're excited to announce that County Care Home, Enniskillen has gone solar!

We had 57 solar panels installed on the roof of the Home this week. This will see 6 tons of CO₂avoided per year and is the equivalent of around 7000 trees being planted over the lifetime of the system.

We also got a hybrid inverter installed and will be adding a solar battery storage system next year so any unused energy can be stored and used by us instead of being sent back to the grid.

This is a big step forward in our commitment to sustainability; we believe that it's important to do our part to protect the environment for future generations.

Plus, the solar panels will save us money on our energy bills which we can reinvest in providing the best possible care for our residents.

With plenty of sunshine forecast for the next week, our solar journey has definitely got off to a good start!
