There was plenty of fun on Pancake Day at Hamilton Court, Glenview, and The County, as residents, staff and families gathered for a day of pancake-making, flipping and eating.
The kitchens and residents were busy, cooking up stacks of golden pancakes. Everyone had a go at flipping, resulting in plenty of laughter and some impressive (and less impressive!) tosses. We love the video evidence produced by Hamilton Court as seen on their Facebook Page.
A generous spread of toppings was laid out, from classic lemon and sugar to fruit compotes and syrups, allowing everyone to create their own perfect pancake plate. Families joined in, contributing to a relaxed and social atmosphere.
The event provided a welcome opportunity for social interaction and enjoyment, marking a successful and fun day. It was a great feast enjoyed by all, a final treat before the start of Lent.
