Lightning Visits Glenview for Pet Day

It was National Pet Day last week and Glenview marked the occasion with a visit from Lightning the rabbit!

Lightning is the beloved pet of one of our Glenview team members. With the softest fur and the cutest little twitch of his nose, he has a knack for melting hearts wherever he goes. Today, under the warm spring sunshine, our residents had the opportunity to cuddle and stroke Lightning and they loved every moment. We think Lightning enjoyed it even more!

For our residents, these interactions can be incredibly therapeutic. The gentle act of stroking a soft animal like Lightning not only provides sensory stimulation, but it also offers a sense of calm and comfort. For some of our residents, it also sparked memories of past pets!

It's moments like these, a simple cuddle with a sweet rabbit in the sunshine, that highlight the little things that make a big difference in the lives of our residents.
